Deion Sanders 'Can't Wait' Until Shedeur Plays for Browns amid Depth Chart Discussion
Colorado head coach Deion Sanders is looking forward to his son, Shedeur, getting his first NFL regular-season reps at quarterback for the Cleveland Browns.
"Shedeur's doing good," Deion told Romi Bean of CBS Colorado (16:52 mark). "Mentally, emotionally, psychologically he's doing good. He's smiling, they can't knock the smile off his face. He keeps on smiling. Not that they're trying to, but a lot of media personalities are. I can't wait until he get his opportunity and he do his thing."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Shedeur is still waiting to make his regular-season debut for the Browns, as he ended training camp at No. 3 on their quarterback depth chart.
While Cleveland traded veteran passer Joe Flacco to the Cincinnati Bengals on Tuesday, head coach Kevin Stefanski was noncommittal when asked if Shedeur would move up to the team's No. 2 quarterback as a result.
In the meantime, third-round rookie Dillon Gabriel will continue to serve as the Browns' starter under center.
Cleveland traded up to select Shedeur with a fifth-round pick in the 2025 NFL draft following an impressive senior season at Colorado under Deion.
The younger Sanders completed 74 percent of his passes for 4,134 yards and 37 touchdowns to go along with 10 interceptions, helping the Buffaloes finish with a 9-4 record.
