Wild Booking Decisions to Spice Up WWE Crown Jewel 2025

Donald WoodOct 8, 2025

From the outside looking in, the 2025 edition of Crown Jewel from Perth, Australia, looks like the standard international premium live event, with five matches and nothing of real substance on the card.

But what if Triple H and WWE Creative wanted to entertain the fans instead of giving them another glorified house show? The company has all the talent booked to shock the world, but will it pull the trigger?

Here are the wildest booking decisions that could happen at Saturday's Crown Jewel.

Brock Lesnar Attacks Roman Reigns

In one of the most anticipated bouts of the night, Roman Reigns will battle Bronson Reed in an Australian Street Fight.

On paper, this looks like an almost guaranteed victory for The Tribal Chief, but Paul Heyman is looming.

Considering Heyman's affiliation with Reed and The Vision, interference is likely. Reigns will be able to overcome most distractions, but he will not be able to focus on Reed if Brock Lesnar makes an appearance on The Oracle's behalf.

Lesnar disposed of John Cena with ease and will be looking to ignite a marquee feud to close out the year. With Reed fighting in his home country, WWE Creative could hand the fresher name a career-defining win while also setting up a feud between Reigns and Lesnar.

The WWE Universe has witnessed the battles between Reigns and Lesnar in the past, but both performers are now at different stages in their careers. Add in that they are arguably the two biggest draws on the main roster, and this wild scenario makes a lot of sense.

The Kabuki Warriors Explode

Wrestling fans are looking forward to the tag team bout between Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky against The Kabuki Warriors, Asuka, and Kairi Sane.

Unfortunately for the heels, a major loss is in the cards.

Not only is Ripley returning to her home nation, but there is also trouble in paradise between the Kabuki Warriors, as Asuka continues to mistreat Sane.

At some point, The Pirate Princess will look to break free of her teammate and emerge as a popular babyface.

During the match, Asuka will take it too far with her brutal attacks on their former friend Sky, but Sane will eventually stop her partner and endure a beating for her actions. Sane will retaliate, laying out her former friend and handing the faces a marquee victory.

The subsequent feud between Asuka and Sane will be main event-worthy.

The Good Brothers Return

John Cena's retirement tour has been lackluster at best, but one redeeming moment will be his battle against AJ Styles at Crown Jewel.

From an in-ring perspective, Styles may be Cena's greatest rival.

What made their rivalry in 2016-17 so amazing was their chemistry in the ring and Styles' underdog character. Another memorable part of the storyline was the tagline "Beat Up John Cena" and the involvement of The Good Brothers: Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson.

While Gallows and Anderson were released from their WWE contracts in February, hiring them for a one-off appearance to support Styles would be an unforgettable moment. More importantly, their return could be the start of something bigger.

The match with Cena may be a one-off for Styles, but the momentum he could gain from the moment created with The Good Brothers could convince WWE to rehire them and let the team stay with The Phenomenal One until his eventual retirement.
