Updated 2026 NFL Draft Order After Sunday's Week 5 Results

Joe TanseyOct 6, 2025

The New York Jets have the dubious honor of being the last winless team in the NFL in 2025.

If there's any good news for the Jets, it's that they are now the front-runner to land the top pick in the 2026 NFL draft.

However, one victory by the Jets could change the entire complexion of the top 10 since seven teams left Week 5 with a 1-4 record.

The Jets weren't particularly close to earning their first win of the 2025 campaign on Sunday.

That's the most concering part about where the Jets stand in the 2025 version of the NFL.

Justin Fields and Co. could easily drop to 0-6 in London next week against the Denver Broncos and create some separation between themselves and the other contenders for the top pick.

New York's schedule gets easier after the trip to London with games against the Carolina Panthers, Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns.

That three-game stretch could open the door for other struggling teams to jump up in the draft order.

The Tennessee Titans should still be in the top pick mix by the midseason mark, despite their Sunday win over the Arizona Cardinals.

Cam Ward and Co. play the Las Vegas Raiders, New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts and Los Angeles Chargers prior to their Week 10 bye. The Titans could easily go 0-4 or 1-3 in that stretch.

The New Orleans Saints aren't in the clear yet either with the improving Patriots next up on their schedule.

There's a chance that the Week 17 meeting between the Saints and Titans could be the No. 1 pick, or at minimum, a top-three selection.

The Baltimore Ravens are the only team currently at 1-4 or 0-5 that has a clear path out of the top 10.

Lamar Jackson could be back after the Week 7 bye. There's three easy wins against the Jets and two versus the Bengals on their schedule. Plenty of other victories are in play for Baltimore if a healthy Jackson is on the field.
