Cam Skattebo Apologizes to Giants Fans After Saints Score Off Fumble, 'I'll Be Better'
New York Giants rookie running back Cam Skattebo is owning up to his costly mistake in Sunday's 26-14 loss to the New Orleans Saints.
Skattebo had solid numbers with 15 rushes for 59 yards and six catches for 45 yards, but his fumble in the fourth quarter was run back for an 86-yard touchdown that helped seal the win for the Saints, who had entered the game with a 0-4 record.

After the game, Skattebo tweeted an apology to Giants fans, promising that he'll be "better" in the future.
Skattebo wasn't the only Giants player to have a blunder on Sunday, as the team totaled five turnovers. Rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart accounted for three of them, throwing a pair of interceptions and losing a fumble.
Things won't get easier for the Giants anytime soon, as they will have a quick turnaround in Week 6 when they meet the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday Night Football.
