Caitlin Clark 'Working Really Hard to Get Back to Full Health' After Ankle Injury
Indiana Fever star guard Caitlin Clark is motivated to put her lost 2025 season behind her.
Clark told reporters on Thursday that she's "been working really hard to get back to full health" after being limited to just 13 games this season due to groin and ankle injuries.
"Obviously, my ankle didn't allow for me to see where my groin is at," Clark said, adding that her left ankle sprain was "probably one of the worst sprains I've dealt with."

Clark was in and out of Indiana's lineup throughout the year before announcing early last month that she wouldn't be able to return this season. She averaged 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 8.8 assists and 1.6 steals per game in her brief time on the court.
Despite Clark's absence, the Fever finished sixth in the league with a 24-20 record and made a surprising run to the playoff semifinals for the first time in franchise history, pushing the Las Vegas Aces to five games before losing in overtime in the deciding game.
Indiana will certainly be motivated to continue building off of this season's success, and having Clark back at full strength in 2026 should help the team reach even greater heights.
