NFL Insider Says 'There's No Replacement' for Malik Nabers After Giants WR's Injury
The New York Giants lost Malik Nabers for the season this past week due to a torn ACL, and seem resigned to the fact that replacing his production and impact is simply not feasible.
As ESPN's Jeremy Fowler wrote: "When I asked about the Giants making a move to add a receiver via trade or free agency, the response I got was, 'There are no replacements for Malik Nabers. You can't replace that guy.' Very true. So the Giants seem inclined to roll with what they have at this point."
The Giants aren't exactly brimming with dynamic pass-catchers. Without Nabers, Wan'Dale Robinson (18 catches for 237 yards and a touchdown) will be the top option for rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart, though it wouldn't be surprising if the Giants lean heavily on fellow rookie Cam Skattebo and the run game.

Nabers was fantastic as a rookie, catching 109 passes for 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns. Expectations were even higher for his sophomore campaign, but the Giants will need to adjust to life without him for the remainder of 2025.
