These Are Your 7 Best Fantasy Waiver Wire WRs for Replacing Tyreek Hill

Joseph ZuckerSep 30, 2025

The waiver wire is going into overdrive as fantasy football managers scramble to replace Tyreek Hill on their squad.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the Miami Dolphins wide receiver dislocated his knee and tore multiple ligaments in Monday's 27-21 win over the New York Jets.

Going back to last season, the eight-time Pro Bowler wasn't producing as fans have come to expect. Still, his reputation as one of the NFL's most dangerous downfield pass-catchers spoke for itself.

Hill missing the rest of the 2025 season will have a big ripple affect in the fantasy sphere. These are some wideouts worth considering for managers who now have an open roster spot.

Romeo Doubs, Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers are off in Week 5, so Romeo Doubs won't provide immediate relief. The 25-year-old is nonetheless a popular target after he caught six passes for 58 yards and three touchdowns in a 40-40 tie with the Dallas Cowboys.

That was just the fourth time Doubs had multiple touchdowns in a game, and he has registered six-plus receptions five times.

Still, he has a reasonably good track record and is averaging 44.8 yards per contest through four games.

Darius Slayton, New York Giants

The dawn of the Jaxson Dart era for the New York Giants provided some encouragement for Darius Slayton. Dart only threw for 111 yards, but 44 of those went to Slayton.

More than that, Malik Nabers' torn ACL creates a massive void in the passing game. Somebody will have to step up and assume a larger role, and Slayton is a prime candidate.

The 28-year-old has historically been the most consistent performer among the healthy receivers on New York's roster.

Troy Franklin, Denver Broncos

With 18 receptions for 196 yards and a touchdown, Troy Franklin is significantly outpacing the numbers he posted as a rookie with the Denver Broncos in 2024. That's thanks to the fact his catches per game have climbed from 1.8 to 4.5.

Franklin's 27 targets are tied for the most on the team with Courtland Sutton. He appears to have made a strong impression on quarterback Bo Nix and head coach Sean Payton.

Wan'Dale Robinson, New York Giants: Robinson is another obvious option after Nabers' knee injury. He tends to be a little streaky from week to week, though, so is value might be higher in streaming situations.

Elic Ayomanor, Tennessee Titans: Ayomanor is leading the Tennessee Titans in receiving yards (151). If Cam Ward can start making positive strides, the fourth-round pick will be a big beneficiary.

Marquise Brown, Kansas City Chiefs: A lot of fantasy managers probably feel burned by Brown's last two years, but his 5.5 catches and 52.3 yards per game are a tracking a little above his career averages.

Jalen Tolbert, Dallas Cowboys: Tolbert had four receptions for 61 yards and was on the field for 81.2 percent of the Dallas Cowboys' offensive snaps. As long as CeeDee Lamb is out, he might get enough looks to make an impact.
