Carmelo Anthony was on a mission to set the world record for most high-fives in 30 seconds at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards on Thursday.

It was a whole thing—Guinness World Records even chronicled on Twitter the events leading up to his attempt.

But whether it was the weight of the pressure or his speed, the NBA star fell 10 high-fives short of the 130 he needed to claim the title.
