Updated 2026 NFL Draft Order After Sunday's Week 4 Results

Joe TanseySep 29, 2025

Only four winless teams remain in the NFL after Sunday's Week 4 games.

That total is guaranteed to be cut down the three after Monday night's clash between the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins.

The New Orleans Saints, Tennessee Titans and the Jets-Dolphins loser are the front-runners to land the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft.

The Saints and Titans didn't display many positives in September.

Each team scored over 20 points once. The Titans put together the worst offensive performance of the two in Sunday's 26-0 loss to Houston.

New Orleans at least gets some schedule relief in the next month, as it plays three home games against the New York Giants, New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

There's a chance that the Saints win at least one of those games and they start to pull things together.

The Titans' fate looks bleaker, as they visit the Arizona Cardinals, Las Vegas Raiders and Indianapolis Colts in October. Their only home game is against the Patriots.

Tennessee could very well start the campaign 0-9 since it has the Los Angeles Chargers before its Week 10 bye.

If the Titans end up with the No. 1 overall pick, a quarterback likely won't be chosen since they took Cam Ward with the first selection in April.

New Orleans would likely go all-in for a quarterback wherever it lands because Spencer Rattler isn't cutting it as a starter in the NFL.

The Jets-Dolphins loser will join the Saints and Titans at 0-4, but at least there's some hope with both AFC East sides.

Miami has enough talent to attempt to pull itself out of the AFC cellar, while the Jets played two close games to start the Aaron Glenn era and might be building something that leads them to more of a mid-round pick than a top-10 selection.

One or two other teams will join the race for the top pick as the season goes on, but right now, it feels like New Orleans and Tennessee are the main contenders.
