The "King of Latin Trap" is teaming up with the NFL.

The league announced Sunday night that Bad Bunny will headline the Super Bowl 60 Halftime Show at Santa Clara's Levi's Stadium on Sunday, Feb. 8.

"What I'm feeling goes beyond myself," Bad Bunny told Rolling Stone in a statement. "It's for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown... this is for my people, my culture, and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el HALFTIME SHOW DEL SUPER BOWL."

Bad Bunny's performance will have big shoes to fill. Last season's show, headlined by Kendrick Lamar, won the Creative Emmy for Outstanding Music Direction. Other recent headliners included Usher, Rihanna and 2022's collection of hip-hop stars (Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, 50 Cent, Anderson .Paak).

While the game itself is the main attraction, both the commercials and the Halftime Show have become cultural staples during Super Bowl Sunday. Certainly, headlining the show has become one of the marquee distinctions for any musician.
