New York started the season 0-3, with Wilson notably struggling in Weeks 1 and 3, combining for just 328 passing yards and two interceptions in a 21-6 loss to the Washington Commanders and a 22-9 defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs. He did throw for 450 yards and three touchdowns in Week 2 against the Dallas Cowboys, who ended up victorious 40-37 in overtime.
Two days after the Chiefs loss, the Giants made Dart QB1. He completed 13-of-20 passes for 111 yards and one touchdown while rushing for 54 yards and another score on 10 carries.
Dart got the Giants on the board with a 15-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.
Dart's first touchdown throw was a three-yard shovel pass to tight end Theo Johnson in the third quarter. Cam Skattebo's ensuing two-point conversion gave New York a 21-10 lead.
The former Ole Miss star is also showcasing his leadership skills, giving his team a speech before breaking the squad down in the locker room after the game.
