NFL Fans Want Shedeur Sanders or Dillon Gabriel to Be Browns' QB1 over Joe Flacco
There were low expectations for the Joe Flacco experiment with the Cleveland Browns entering the season, but he's failed to even reach that bar through four games.
Flacco was tied for second in the NFL with four interceptions and completing just 61.1 percent of his passes entering Sunday. His response was to go 16-of-34 for 184 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions in a 34-10 loss to the Detroit Lions.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
His first interception of the day was an arm punt on a third-down miscommunication in the first quarter. He also lost a fumble after being sacked by Aidan Hutchinson in the fourth quarter on what turned out to be his final snap of the game.
Fans did get to see rookie Dillon Gabriel take three snaps and throw a pass on Cleveland's final possession, but they want to see more of either Gabriel or Shedeur Sanders under center going forward.
Gabriel only played three snaps, with his lone pass being an incompletion, when he entered the game with 3:59 remaining in the fourth quarter.
Now sitting a 1-3 after Sunday's loss, the Browns have yet to score more than 17 points in a game. They have failed to score a touchdown in 10 of their 16 quarters played.
When head coach Kevin Stefanski named Flacco the starter in mid-August, he praised him for his work on and off the field.
"Joe performed really well both in practice, in the joint practices, in the meeting room, you name it, in the walkthrough, just what he's able to bring to the football team. He's earned that role," said Stefanski.
While Flacco could certainly be a useful voice in the locker room behind the scenes, there's nothing he's giving the Browns right now that suggests he's deserving of his spot.
Even if Gabriel or Sanders were to struggle, which feels like a safe assumption since they are both first-year players, it would be better to at least give them a chance to fail and learn from their mistakes rather than continue to rely on a player with a low floor and ceiling like Flacco.
We've already seen this season that teams can be reinvigorated by playing with a rookie quarterback. The New York Giants earned their first win of the season and handed the Los Angeles Chargers their first loss in Jaxson Dart's first career start on Sunday.
The Browns have a defense that can keep them in games, as we saw in Week 3 against the Green Bay Packers, as long as they have a quarterback who isn't actively destroying their chance to win.
Stefanski will certainly address the situation throughout the upcoming week as the Browns prepare to play the Minnesota Vikings in London on Oct. 5.
