Despite the big win, fans remained wary after wide receiver Malik Nabers went down in the second quarter with what "is feared to be a torn ACL," according to ESPN's Jordan Raanan.

Nabers was carted off the field and is scheduled to undergo an MRI on his right leg Monday, per Raanan. Nabers had 20 yards on two catches before his exit.

The Chargers suffered their first loss, falling to 3-1. In a rare off game, Justin Herbert threw two interceptions along with one touchdown on 23-of-41 completions for 203 yards. Omarion Hamption ran in a score in addition to 128 rushing yards Quentin Johnson caught a touchdown pass.

With their first win of the season, now 1-3, Dart energized fans after taking over for veteran quarterback Wilson.

Dart opened the scoring with a 15-yard touchdown run up the middle to give New York a 7-0 lead, while the Giants' defense held the Chargers scoreless in the first quarter and picked off Herbert to close out the frame.

New York and Los Angeles traded field goals early in the second quarter, with the Chargers trailing 13-3 with 1:52 left in the half. Herbert then led a sharp two-minute drill, capping it with a 36-yard touchdown pass to Johnston to cut the deficit to 13-10 at the break.

In the third quarter, Herbert threw his second interception of the game with 3:47 remaining. The Giants capitalized two plays later, as Dart connected with Johnson for a touchdown, followed by a two-point conversion run from Skattebo to push the lead to 21-10.

The Chargers responded quickly, as running back Hampton broke free for a 54-yard touchdown. Herbert then added a two-point conversion to bring Los Angeles within 21-18 before the end of the third quarter.

Neither team scored in the final quarter, and the Chargers had a chance to win late, but with no timeouts remaining, time expired on their final drive as Dart secured a victory in his rookie debut.

The Giants will hit the road to face New Orleans next Sunday.
