Jarren Duran Says 'It Feels Pretty F--king Good' Red Sox Clinched MLB Playoff Berth

Jarren Duran is happy to see the Boston Red Sox make it to the MLB postseason for the first time since 2021.

"It feels pretty f--king good right now, I'll tell you that," Duran said to NESN's Jahmai Webster during a postgame interview.

Duran continued, "I love this team, and they've come a long way, and I can't wait to see what we do."

With a postseason berth on the line, the Red Sox were trailing the visiting Detroit Tigers by one run heading into the eighth inning.

Duran stepped up to even the score by sending Nate Eaton home with an RBI single.

Ceddanne Rafaela then hit a walk-off triple in the ninth inning to seal the win and secure the Red Sox's postseason ticket.

"This group, we have fun and we don't really care what other people are saying about us," Duran said. "We just keep playing, and we keep doing our thing, and we've proved that all year. We're just going to keep doing it."

Should the postseason picture remain unchanged over the final weekend of the regular season, Duran and the Red Sox are slated to take on Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees.

Duran, who leads Boston with 40 doubles and the AL with 13 triples, will be called on for more clutch hits next week as the Red Sox fight to make it to their first ALDS in five years.
