Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani, Yankees' Aaron Judge Lead Top-Selling MLB Jerseys of 2025

Julia StumbaughSep 26, 2025

Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani made MLB merchandise history this season.

Ohtani's jersey was the most purchased in MLB during the 2025 season for the third consecutive year, MLB.com's Jason Foster reported Friday.

Mookie Betts, Aaron Judge and Derek Jeter are the only other MLB players who have ever topped jersey sales for three straight seasons, per Foster.

Judge's New York Yankees jersey ranked second to Ohtani's as the most popular jersey purchase this season.

Jeter topped the jersey sales rankings from 2010 to 2012. Judge led MLB in sales from 2017 to 2019, while Betts led the sales rankings from 2020 to 2022, per Foster.

The Dodgers overall had three players represented among the top four most-sold jerseys this season, with Ohtani and Betts joined by Freddie Freeman. Pitcher Clayton Kershaw meanwhile ranked as the 12th most popular jersey this season.

The state of New York was also well represented as three Mets players (Francisco Lindor, Pete Alonso and former Yankee Juan Soto) joined Judge in the top 20.

The top 20 highest-selling Nike MLB jerseys on Fanatics sites this season were as follows, per Foster:

  1. Shohei Ohtani (Dodgers)

  18. Paul Skenes (Pittsburgh Pirates)
  19. Manny Machado (Padres)

Players on last season's top 20 jerseys list whose sales dropped in 2025 included the St. Louis Cardinals' Nolan Arenado, Texas Rangers' Corey Seager, Philadelphia Phillies' Trea Turner, Cleveland Guardians' José Ramírez and Baltimore Orioles' Adley Rutschman.

Making it on to the top-20 list this season after missing out in 2024 were the Pirates' Paul Skenes, Mariners' Cal Raleigh, Red Sox's Jarren Duran, Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong and Giants' Rafael Devers.

The 2025 MLB regular season wraps up on Sunday, followed by the stat of the Wild Card round next Tuesday. Only the Los Angeles Dodgers have locked in their seed heading into Friday's slate of games.
