Max Klare NFL Draft 2026 Scouting Report for Los Angeles Rams TE

Daniel HarmsOct 12, 2025

The Los Angeles Rams selected Ohio State TE Max Klare with the No. 61 pick in the 2026 NFL draft.

Max Klare is an explosive presence who uses route nuance and a great catch-to-attack mentality to create space for himself.

The Ohio State offense hasn't given him the platform to show what he can do, but the tape doesn't lie.

Klare was a 3-star recruit and transferred from Purdue after having his breakout season. He was third on Ohio State in receiving yards and receptions, and finished his career with 1,329 yards on 116 receptions and six touchdowns.

He'll provide alignment versatility to the NFL level with functional in-line ability, but does his best work as a pass catcher and as a move blocker.

Dan has covered the Kansas City Chiefs and the NFL Draft since 2019 while contributing for RGR Football. Most recently, he spent the 2025 draft cycle at The Draft Network and is entering his first season in B/R's Scouting Department.
