Week 4 Fantasy Football Rankings, Projections and Matchups to Love

Kristopher KnoxSep 25, 2025

We're only one game into Week 4, but some managers may be struggling with their remaining lineup decisions. Several players have failed to meet expectations this season, and injuries have further complicated matters.

Ideally, those who drafted players like Joe Burrow, James Conner and Najee Harris were able to find replacement depth on the waiver wire over the last couple of weeks. While a few quality players may still be available on the wire, the remaining 15 games of Week 4 will be all about playing the matchups.

Here, you'll find our top picks and projections for each key fantasy position, along with the matchups to love the most.

All rankings and analysis are based on point-per-reception (PPR) scoring.

Quarterback

1 of 4
Packers Browns Football
Packers QB Jordan Love
  1. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills: 250 passing yards, 2 TDs, 50 rushing yards, 1 rushing TD
  2. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens: 240 passing yards, 2 TDs, 45 rushing yards, 1 rushing TD
  3. Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers: 290 passing yards, 2 TDs, 35 rushing yards
  4. Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers: 290 passing yards, 2 TDs, 25 rushing yards
  5. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles: 270 passing yards, 2 TDs, 30 rushing yards
  6. Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears: 260 passing yards, 2 TDs, 25 rushing yards
  7. Drake Maye, New England Patriots: 255 passing yards, 2 TDs, 20 rushing yards
  8. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs: 245 passing yards, 2 TDs, 20 rushing yards
  9. Daniel Jones, Indianapolis Colts: 240 passing yards, 2 TDs, 20 rushing yards
  10. Bo Nix, Denver Broncos: 250 passing yards, 2 TDs, 10 rushing yards

Matchup to Love: Jordan Love at Dallas Cowboys

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love had a miserable time against the Cleveland Browns in Week 3. However, he'll have a prime opportunity to bounce back this week against the Dallas Cowboys.

No team has allowed more fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season than Dallas.

Love's floor should be back to where it was in the first two weeks of the season—he tossed a pair of touchdowns in each of his first two games. He's also unlikely to throw his second interception of the season against a Cowboys defense that has recorded just one pick all year.

The big question is whether Dallas can generate enough offense without CeeDee Lamb (ankle) to keep Green Bay passing throughout the game. Maybe not, but Love should do enough damage early to justify a start.

Running Back

2 of 4
Broncos Chargers Football
Chargers RB Omarion Hampton
  1. Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers: 10 receptions, 130 scrimmage yards, 2 Tds
  2. Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts: 8 receptions, 140 scrimmage yards, 1 TD
  3. Bijan Robinson, Atlanta Falcons: 9 receptions, 110 scrimmage yards, 1 TD
  4. James Cook, Buffalo Bills: 6 receptions, 145 scrimmage yards, 1 TD
  5. Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles: 5 receptions, 130 scrimmage yards, 1 TD
  6. Josh Jacobs, Green Bay Packers: 3 receptions, 120 scrimmage yards, 1 TD
  7. De'Von Achane, Miami Dolphins: 7 receptions, 80 scrimmage yards, 1 TD
  8. Bucky Irving, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 5 receptions, 100 scrimmage yards, 1 TD
  9. Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions: 6 receptions, 90 scrimmage yards, 1 TD
  10. Omarion Hampton, Los Angeles Chargers: 4 receptions, 110 scrimmage yards, 1 TD

Matchup to Love: Omarion Hampton at New York Giants

There are a couple of reasons to believe that Los Angeles Chargers rookie running back is ready to jump into the top-10 conversation this week. The first is the fact that Harris is out for the season with a torn Achilles. That should make Hampton a high-volume starter the rest of the season.

Harris was a huge part of the game plan in Week 3, finishing with six receptions, 129 scrimmage yards, a touchdown and a fumble.

Secondly, Hampton has a favorable matchup against the New York Giants in Week 4. Los Angeles will be on the road, but New York has surrendered the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing RBs this season.

This week will also mark the first start of Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart. If he struggles early, the Chargers will likely look to grind out the game on the ground.

Wide Receiver

3 of 4
Cowboys Bears Football
Bears WR Rome Odunze
  1. Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams: 10 receptions, 140 yards, 1 TD
  2. Malik Nabers, New York Giants: 9 receptions, 145 yards, 1 TD
  3. Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings: 8 receptions, 144 yards, 1 TD
  4. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions: 7 receptions, 110 yards, 1 TD
  5. Nico Collins, Houston Texans: 6 receptions, 118 yards, 1 TD
  6. Rome Odunze, Chicago Bears: 6 receptions, 112 yards, 1 TD
  7. Garrett Wilson, New York Jets: 6 receptions, 104 yards, 1 TD
  8. Ja'Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals: 6 receptions, 121 yards
  9. Davante Adams, Los Angeles Rams: 6 receptions, 105 yards
  10. Drake London, Atlanta Falcons: 7 receptions, 94 yards

Matchup to Love: Rome Odunze at Las Vegas Raiders

Second-year Chicago Bears receiver Rome Odunze is quickly establishing himself as Caleb Williams' top target. He had a terrific outing in Week 3, finishing with three receptions for 62 yards and a touchdown. The Washington product has caught a touchdown pass in every game this season and has been targeted 27 times in all.

It's worth noting, of course, that Odunze and the Bears feasted on a bad Cowboys defense in Week 3. The good news is that things could be similar against the Las Vegas Raiders this week.

Las Vegas has surrendered the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing receivers in 2025.

Odunze is a high-volume receiver who should maintain a high floor moving forward. He's a must-start in Week 4.

Tight End

4 of 4
Bengals Vikings Football
Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson
  1. Brock Bowers, Las Vegas Raiders: 9 receptions, 106 yards
  2. Tucker Kraft, Green Bay Packers: 6 receptions, 64 yards, 1 TD
  3. Tyler Warren, Indianapolis Colts: 9 receptions, 90 yards,
  4. Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions: 5 receptions, 65 yards, 1 TD
  5. T.J. Hockenson, Minnesota Vikings: 5 receptions, 60 yards, 1 TD
  6. Jake Ferguson, Dallas Cowboys: 7 receptions, 78 yards
  7. Hunter Henry, New England Patriots: 7 receptions, 75 yards
  8. Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills: 6 receptions, 74 yards
  9. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs: 6 receptions, 69 yards
  10. Juwan Johnson, New Orleans Saints: 6 receptions, 66 yards

Matchup to Love: T.J. Hockenson at Pittsburgh Steelers

T.J. Hockeson managers had legitimate cause for concern during the first two weeks of the season. With J.J. McCarthy behind center, Hockenson caught just four passes for 27 yards in Weeks 1 and 2 combined.

With Carson Wentz at quarterback in Week 3, though, Hockenson caught five passes for 49 yards and a score. Managers shouldn't view that performance as a fluke.

With Wentz set to start again in Week 4, Hockenson should have another opportunity to shine. The Minnesota Vikings will face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Ireland, and Pittsburgh has struggled against opposing tight ends.

Only the Seattle Seahawks have surrendered more points to opposing TEs this season than Pittsburgh. Hockenson should be a safe play as long as Wentz remains at quarterback, and he's a strong start this week against the Steelers.
