Week 4 Waiver Wire Pickups and Available Sleepers in Most Yahoo Leagues
Week 4 got underway with Thursday night's NFC West battle between the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals. For some fantasy managers, it was a rough way to start the week.
Many managers looking to play catch-up will be limited by the NFL's long list of notable injuries. Unfortunately, the top injury replacements have likely already been plucked from the waiver wire. A few deep sleepers, however, could remain available in your league.
Let's dive into some Week 4 sleepers available in at least half of Yahoo leagues entering the weekend.
All picks and analysis based on point-per-reception (PPR) scoring.
Geno Smith, QB, Las Vegas Raiders

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Geno Smith has not had the best start to his season. He's thrown for 831 yards and four touchdowns but has also tossed four interceptions.
However, Smith's overall numbers were significantly and negatively impacted by his three-interception night against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 2. He threw for 362 yards, a touchdown and a pick in Week 1 before coming back with a 289-yard, three-touchdown outing in Week 3.
This could be a good week for Smith, who is a streaming option while other QBs are sidelined. The Raiders are set to host the Chicago Bears, who have surrendered the third-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season.
The Bears should be able to generate enough offense to keep Las Vegas passing early and often. They had a breakthrough game in Week 3, racking up 31 points against the Dallas Cowboys.
Smith is still available in over 55 percent of Yahoo leagues.
Ollie Gordon II, RB, Miami Dolphins

Miami Dolphins rookie running back Ollie Gordon II hasn't earned a prominent offensive role yet. However, he's beginning to get more opportunities as a change-of-pace behind De'Von Achane.
Against the Buffalo Bills in Week 3, Gordon logged nine carries for 38 yards and a touchdown.
If Gordon can continue claiming short-yardage and goal-line work, he could become a serviceable weekly flex option. For now, he's a matchup-based, boom-or-bust sleeper.
Fortunately, the matchup this week is solid. The Dolphins will host the rival New York Jets, who have surrendered 399 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns through three games. New York has also allowed the 12th-most fantasy points to opposing RBs.
If the Dolphins keep things close and lean on their ground game, Gordon could have a strong week. He's available in roughly 70 percent of Yahoo leagues.
Darnell Mooney, WR, Atlanta Falcons

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Darnell Mooney has been relatively quiet since returning from a shoulder injury in Week 2. However, he's creeping toward a potential breakout game.
Mooney had two catches for only 20 yards in his 2025 debut. Last week, he caught four passes for 44 yards. What's noteworthy, though, is the fact that he was targeted a whopping 11 times last week.
Assuming Mooney maintains a high target share in Week 4, he has legitimate sleeper potential. The Falcons will host the Washington Commanders, who have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers.
Washington is likely to put a lot of focus toward slowing Bijan Robinson, Drake London and Kyle Pitts, which could leave Mooney with frequent one-on-one opportunities.
Mooney is available in over 50 percent of Yahoo leagues.
Brenton Strange, TE, Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars are still searching for a rhythm offensively, and tight end Brenton Strange may help provide some stability. He's gone from four targets in the opener to five targets in Week 2 and seven targets in Week 3.
This past week, Strange finished with six receptions for 61 yards.
Strange is likely to remain one of Trevor Lawrence's top targets moving forward, both because Evan Engram is no longer with the team and because Brian Thomas Jr. has struggled with drops. Strange has been one of the team's most reliable pass-catchers, and the Jags will likely need him on the road against the San Francisco 49ers this week.
While San Francisco's defense has been quite good overall this season, it hasn't completely shut down opposing tight ends. The 49ers have actually allowed the 10th-most (tied) fantasy points to the position.
Strange is available in over 70 percent of Yahoo leagues.
