Ryder Cup 2025 Friday Tee Times, TV Schedule, Pairings and Predictions

Doric SamSep 25, 2025

The 2025 Ryder Cup will commence on Friday from the famed Bethpage Black course on Long Island, New York, with eight matches between the morning and afternoon sessions.

The day will kick off with foursome matches before ending with four-ball in the afternoon.

Team Europe was victorious over Team USA in the 2023 Ryder Cup by a score of 16.5-11.5, though the teams have split the last four Ryder Cup events 2-2. Europe is looking to win back-to-back titles for the first time since 2012 and 2014.

Home course advantage is one of the biggest determining factors in the Ryder Cup, as the host nation has been victorious in each of the last five events and eight of the last nine. Team USA knows that it could gain a boost from the crowd at Bethpage Black, and the players are hoping for just that.

"I know tomorrow is going to be pretty bad, but I hope Friday is just absolute chaos. I'm all for it," Collin Morikawa said at Wednesday's pre-tournament press conference. "I think it feeds into who we are, and the American players, and the American team. We want it. We want to use that to our advantage. I think every sport uses their home crowd to their advantage, and just because we don't play in a setting like this… doesn't mean we can't use that to our advantage. I think we really have to tap into that."

However, the Europeans will be prepared for a raucous environment, as Rory McIlroy said the team has prepared itself by wearing VR equipment that will "simulate the sights and sounds and noise" of the crowd.

Team Europe's advantage over the Americans will be in experience, as Rasmus Højgaard is their only player making his Ryder Cup debut. The U.S. has four Ryder Cup rookies with J.J. Spaun, Cameron Young, Russell Henley and Ben Griffin joining the team.

Despite being the only LIV Golf representative on Team USA, Bryson DeChambeau is set to play a key role in the Ryder Cup. Bradley said earlier this week that the players "need the energy from Bryson." His rivalry with McIlroy will also be under the spotlight once again after their duel at the Masters earlier this year. DeChambeau made it clear that he has his eyes set on the Irishman, telling People Magazine earlier this summer that he'll "be chirping in his ear this time."

McIlroy will be backed up by an impressive European team that includes Jon Rahm, Justin Rose and Tommy Fleetwood. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler headlines Team USA along with Xander Schauffele and Justin Thomas.

It all makes for a fun battle as the Americans try to bring the Ryder Cup back home against European team that is motivated to hold onto the title.
