Steelers Floated as Tyreek Hill Landing Spot by NFL Insider if Dolphins Explore Trade

The Pittsburgh Steelers revamped their receiving corps this offseason, and it sounds like more changes could be coming.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported that the Steelers could be a potential landing spot for star wide receiver Tyreek Hill if the Miami Dolphins make him available for a trade.

"The Steelers could have one more move in them, and I'd be willing to bet they'd at least have a conversation on Tyreek Hill if Miami engaged," Fowler wrote.

Pittsburgh acquired star receiver DK Metcalf and veteran tight end Jonnu Smith and shipped away wideout George Pickens as part of a busy offseason. The team is off to a 2-1 start with veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers leading the way, most recently defeating the New England Patriots 21-14 this past Sunday.

Despite the impressive options in the passing attack, it's actually running back Jaylen Warren who leads the Steelers with 142 receiving yards. Adding a talent like Hill to the mix would certainly open things up for the offense to be even more dynamic.

The Dolphins are 0-3 and could be on the verge of wholesale changes if things don't improve soon. Hill hasn't been shy about expressing his frustrations with the team's poor start, so the writing is already on the wall for his potential exit from Miami.

Acquiring Hill could be the splashy move the Steelers need to establish themselves as top contenders in the AFC, while the Dolphins would be kicking off their rebuild if they choose to trade the eight-time Pro Bowler.
