The Phoenix Mercury handed the Minnesota Lynx their first loss of the postseason on Tuesday night.

Phoenix engineered a second-half comeback to level its WNBA second-round series with Minnesota.

Phoenix limited the Lynx to 35 points in the second half and overtime to pull off the incredible comeback.

The Las Vegas Aces later tied their series against the Indiana Fever with a dominant 90-68 win.

Phoenix's defense controlled the second half and overtime.

The Mercury outscored the Lynx 47-31 in the second half to erase a 16-point halftime deficit and force overtime.

Phoenix sent Game 2 to overtime on a Sami Whitcomb three-pointer with 4.2 seconds left in regulation. Whitcomb's leveler came after Alyssa Thomas hunted down an offensive rebound to feed Whitcomb for a second attempt.

The Mercury took over in the extra period, as they outscored the hosts 10-4.

Minnesota lost despite receiving 20-point performances from Naphessa Collier, Courtney Williams and Kayla McBride.

Satou Sabally led the Mercury with 24 points, while Thomas contributed 19 points and 13 assists.

The semifinal series is now headed to Phoenix on Friday. Games 3 and 4 will be in Phoenix. Game 5 will be in Minnesota on September 30 if necessary.

The Aces rebounded from their series-opening defeat to the Fever with a 22-point victory in Game 2.

A'ja Wilson led the charge, as always, with 25 points and nine rebounds, while NaLyssa Smith added 18 points for the Aces.

Las Vegas felt like it had the victory wrapped up at halftime, as it got out to a 46-35 advantage.

The Aces only got better as the game went on and ended up with a substantial margin of victory.

Indiana can still leave Las Vegas with its heads held high because of the Game 1 upset.

Four of the five Fever starters reached double figures on Tuesday, but defensively, they did not have an answer for Wilson.

The series shifts to Indiana for Friday's Game 3. Game 4 takes place in Indiana on Sunday afternoon. The series could return to Vegas for Game 5, which would take place on September 30.
