Jake Paul Says He'll Have 1 of the Most Viral KOs in Boxing History vs. Gervonta Davis
Jake Paul is confident he'll send Gervonta Davis to the canvas when they meet in Miami on Nov. 14.
Paul told TMZ Sports he'll "probably create one of the most viral knockouts in the history of boxing."
Davis potentially poses the biggest threat so far to the 28-year-old. He's the WBA lightweight champion and, unlike Mike Tyson and Julio César Chávez Jr., in his prime fighting years.
Still, some fans will likely be skeptical about the challenge Paul faces given he has such a large size advantage on Tank. He tipped the scales at 199.4 pounds for his last fight compared to 133.8 for Davis, and there are almost eight inches of difference in their respective heights.
Paul's knockouts of Nate Robinson and Tyron Woodley inspired plenty of mockery on social media. The internet will undoubtedly have a field day if he has a similar result against Davis.
Granted, an overwhelming outcome like that might only embolden the critics who said this was a one-sided fight to begin with.
