Week 4 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Lineup Advice and Smart Sleepers to Exploit
Week 3 brought more unexpected results and, unfortunately, even more fantasy-relevant NFL injuries.
In a week that saw the Green Bay Packers stunned by the Cleveland Browns, the Cincinnati Bengals routed by the Carson Wentz-led Minnesota Vikings and the Atlanta Falcons blanked by the Carolina Panthers, we also saw Nick Bosa, James Conner and Najee Harris suffer season-ending injuries.
Dallas Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb is also set to miss a couple of weeks with a high-ankle sprain, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Many managers will need to rely on sleepers and play the matchups in Week 4. Here, you'll find some start/sit recommendations and a few waiver-wire targets to consider.
Start: J.K. Dobbins, RB, Denver Broncos

Denver Broncos running back J.K. Dobbins has found the end zone in three straight contests, though that hasn't pushed him firmly into must-start territory. Dobbins is rarely used in the passing game (four receptions in three games), which limits his point-per-reception (PPR) floor.
Dobbins' usage and yardage totals have also left something to be desired. He's played 54 percent of the offensive snaps and averaged less than 80 scrimmage yards per game.
There will be matchups in which starting Dobbins is risky. This week's game against the Cincinnati Bengals is not one of those.
Cincinnati has allowed the most fantasy points to opposing running backs this season. It has also become a turnover machine with backup quarterback Jake Browning behind center. If Denver pulls ahead early, Dobbins should see the workload needed to push him over 100 yards for the first time this season.
New York Jets running back Braelon Allen, who is rostered in 54 percent of Yahoo leagues and 44 percent of ESPN leagues, has solid sleeper value against a bad Maimi Dolphins defense this week.
Sit: Jacory Croskey-Merritt, RB, Washington Commanders

Washington Commanders rookie running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt also found the end zone in Week 3, marking the second time he's done so this season. However, Croskey-Merritt's usage is still a concern.
While the Arizona product still leads the Commanders with 22 carries, he saw just eight carries on Sunday. Chris Rodriguez Jr., while Jeremy McNichols saw four.
All three backs ran for touchdowns against the Las Vegas Raiders.
This week, Corskey-Merritt and the Commanders will face a Falcons team looking for redemption after losing 30-0 in Week 3. They'll be on the road against an Atlanta defense that has surrendered the second-fewest fantasy points to opposing RBs.
Managers should wait for a better matchup or a more consistent role before relying on Croskey-Merritt.
Start: Matthew Golden, WR, Green Bay Packers

The Packers' offense looked good over the first two weeks, but it likely frustrated fantasy managers looking for pass-catchers. After a disappointing Week 3, tight end Tucker Kraft leads the team with just 169 receiving yards. Wideout Romeo Doubs (121) is the only other receiver who has topped 100 receiving yards.
Rookie Matthew Golden flashed his big-play potential against the Browns, catching four passes for 52 yards, but the Packers have worked him into the offense slowly. This is a great week for managers to take a chance on the Texas product.
The Packers are set to visit the Dallas Cowboys, who have been legitimately terrible against the pass this season. Dallas ranked dead-last in net yards per passing attempt allowed and has surrendered the most fantasy points to opposing WRs.
This could be a breakthrough game for Golden, and it should bring sleeper potential for Doubs, who is only rostered in 32 percent of Yahoo leagues and 20 percent of ESPN leagues.
Sit: Tee Higgins, WR, Cincinnati Bengals

It may seem odd to say this, but it's time to consider benching Tee Higgins. The Bengals standout is off to a horrible start to the fantasy season, due, in no small part, to Joe Burrow's toe injury.
Even with Burrow in the lineup in Week 1, though, Higgins caught just three passes for 33 yards. He found the end zone in Week 2, adding 56 yards on three receptions, but he had just one 15-yard catch on Sunday. Things aren't likely to get much brighter against Denver this week.
There's no guarantee that the Bengals will get Higgins involved in the game plan after he was targeted only twice in Week 3. He and the Bengals will also face a brutal matchup on the road in Denver.
The Broncos have allowed the fourth-fewest fantasy points to opposing receivers.
