WWE's Piper Niven Reportedly Injured, Timeline for Return Unknown amid Rumors

WWE Superstar Piper Niven hasn't been seen in a month, and the reason for her absence has been revealed.

According to a recent report from Fightful Select (h/t Steve Carrier of Ringside News), Niven has been out of action due to an unspecified injury.

"Over the last week, Fightful Select has been getting a lot of inquiries regarding the status with Piper Niven of the Secret Hervice," the report stated. "When Fightful looked into her recent absence, we were told that she was injured. We didn't hear what the specific injury was, just that they don't know how bad it is at this point."

The report added that there is no timetable for Niven's return. She had defeated Charlotte Flair on the Aug. 22 episode of SmackDown, but she hasn't been seen on WWE television since.

This past Friday, Niven was replaced by fellow Secret Hervice member Alba Fyre in a tag team match with Chelsea Green against Flair and Alexa Bliss to challenge for the Women's Tag Team Titles. Flair and Bliss retained their belts, though their rivalry with Green and company is likely to continue. Unfortunately, it sounds like Niven won't be a part of it for a while.
