Jerry Jones Has 'All the Respect in the World For' Micah Ahead of Cowboys-Packers
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is taking a cordial approach to the team's first matchup against star edge rusher Micah Parsons since trading him to the Green Bay Packers before the season.
Jones had a brief but positive message for Parsons while speaking to reporters about the Week 4 matchup between the Cowboys and Packers on Sunday Night Football.
"I have all the respect in the world for [Parsons], and we know him well, so you can bet that we'll be preparing for what he brings to the table and we'll be trying to come up with some anecdotes for it too," Jones said.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Parsons has five tackles and 1.5 sacks for a 2-1 Green Bay team that ranks third in the NFL in total defense with 232.3 yards allowed per game. While the Packers suffered their first loss of the year to the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, they appear to be in a better place than the Cowboys, who fell to 1-2 after being dominated by the Chicago Bears 31-14.
Dallas' defense has been particularly concerning this year, as the unit ranks 30th in the NFL with 397.7 yards allowed per game and 28th with 30.7 points allowed per game. Jones expressed confidence that the team will be able to improve, but he admitted that the early struggles are unacceptable.
"Well of course if we can't cover them, there's not but one thing to do and that's to try to rush them up," Jones said. "But we've got to get better… I'm confident we will… This is inordinate to have that many big plays."
