A lot of fans tended to think this year's MVP race was a tightly contested battle between Wilson and the Minnesota Lynx's Napheesa Collier. Instead, the results were a blowout with Wilson getting 51 first-place votes to 18 for Collier.

The 6'4" center moved to the top of the ballot on the back of her blistering second half. The Aces won their final 16 games of the regular season, with their franchise cornerstone averaging 26.1 points, 12 rebounds and 2.3 blocks over that span.

Prior to 2025, Wilson was already building a resume to be considered the best of her generation. With four MVPs, there's growing evidence she could be on a greatest-of-all-time trajectory.

Wilson's accolades speak for themselves. She's a two-time WNBA champion, seven-time All-Star, three-time Defensive Player of the Year, and a sixth All-WNBA selection is bound to arrive when that is announced on Oct. 7.

And the 29-year-old has achieved all of this within eight seasons.

Las Vegas tips off its WNBA semifinal series against the Indiana Fever on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET. Should the Aces go on to lift a third title with Wilson, the GOAT case becomes even more compelling.
