Brock Lesnar Calls Out John Cena on Video at WWE SmackDown Before Wrestlepalooza

Paul KasabianSep 19, 2025

Brock Lesnar called out John Cena on SmackDown Friday, one day before he's set to face his foe at Wrestepalooza in Indianapolis.

Lesnar was not in a great mood, notably attacking WWE announcer Michael Cole and Corey Graves. He then delivered his message to Cena.

"John, I'm coming for you," Lesnar said. "It's D-Day tomorrow, John. I'm coming for blood."

After that show-opening chaos, Lesnar was seen walking backstage, where he came across Paul Heyman, who was flanked by Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.

Lesnar looked at Heyman before patting him on the chest, saying the two should talk and walking away.

Heyman, of course, was Lesnar's manager for a long time (2002-2004 and then again from 2012-2020). It appears Lesnar is interested in conducting business with an old friend once again.

In the meantime, Lesnar has more pressing matters against Cena. The two have been longtime rivals, and they'll have one final match as Cena continues his retirement tour, which will wrap up by the end of this year.

Lesnar got the latest edition of this feud going at SummerSlam, when he attacked Cena after he dropped the Undisputed WWE Championship belt to Cody Rhodes.

A month-and-a-half later, Lesnar will face off against Cena in Indianapolis' Gainbridge Fieldhouse at Wrestlepalooza. The five-match card is set to begin at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday.
