Nick Sirianni Says Eagles Are Coaching Tush Push the 'Same Way' amid NFL Emphasis
Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni isn't making any adjustments to the team's signature tush push after the NFL recently placed an emphasis on the play in a message to officials.
"You just address it, and you work on it like you do with every play of playing to the rules of the game," Sirianni told reporters Friday (h/t Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk). "I mean that's something that we talk about all the time, formationally, snap count-wise, offensively, is what I'm saying. Defense-wise, being onside, all those different things. So, the same way you do all those things. I know there's a lot of chatter and hype about the play, but we're coaching it the same way we always coach it, and we know we have to be right, not only on that play, but with all our plays."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
ESPN's Tim McManus reported Thursday that the NFL instructed officials to call the play "tight" going forward after Week 2 and used a short-yardage call from Philadelphia's 20-17 win over the Kansas City Chiefs as an example.
Concerns from the league centered on Philadelphia's offensive lineman potentially lining up offsides and getting off the line of scrimmage prior to the snap.
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid addressed the play after the loss.
"Might have had a couple of them (where) they got off a little early on, but we'll look at that," Reid said, via NFL.com's Eric Edholm.
NFL owners rejected a proposal to eliminate the tush push during the 2025 offseason, as it only received 22 of a required 24 votes from teams to implement the ban.
