Cowboys' Jerry Jones 'Not at All Concerned' About Tom Brady's Fox, Raiders Roles
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones isn't worried about potential conflicts of interest as it relates to Tom Brady's dual role as Las Vegas Raiders minority owner and an NFL on Fox analyst.
Speaking about the subject Friday on 105.3 The Fan (h/t Jon Machota of The Athletic), Jones said: "I'm not at all concerned about it. … I don't think too much of it being a competitive issue. I'm okay with Brady in the booth."
The NFL owners approved Brady's purchase of a minority stake in the Raiders in October 2024 amid his first season as the lead NFL color commentator on Fox.

At the time, the NFL announced several restrictions that would be placed on Brady's work as an announcer, including bans on being in other teams' facilities, attending other teams' practices and attending production meetings either in person or virtually.
However, according to Jack McKessy of USA Today, the NFL amended some of those restrictions for this season, including allowing Brady to attend production meetings virtually or away from team facilities.
During the Raiders' Week 2 Monday Night Football loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, Brady was shown in the Raiders' coaching booth during the ESPN telecast.
That led to questions regarding whether that was a violation of league rules, but NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy (h/t ESPN) said in a statement that there was no rule against Brady being in the coaching booth.
After ESPN's Peter Schrager (h/t Pro Football Talk's Myles Simmons) reported that Brady meets with Raiders offensive coordinator Chip Kelly two or three times per week, Kelly downplayed the situation, saying, "I spend a lot of time just talking football with him. But it's not on a—we don't talk about game plans."
Despite that, former Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce sounded some proverbial alarms with a comment he made this week.
During an appearance on SiriusXM Mad Dog Radio with Adam Schein (h/t Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio), Pierce provided some insight into conversations he had with Brady last season while he was still coaching the Raiders, saying:
"It's not hard for him to watch a few things on a Friday practice or hear things in a production meeting and be like, 'Hmm,' and have tidbits. And you'd be foolish enough to think that he's not gonna share that with the Raiders because we had those conversations about certain things."
Brady passing on information from opposing teams to the Raiders organization seemingly would be a conflict of interest and a violation of the restrictions placed upon him.
However, there hasn't yet been any indication that the NFL plans to investigate or punish the legendary New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback in the wake of Pierce's revelation.
