Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis Moved to Miami for November Boxing Fight on Netflix

Doric SamSep 17, 2025

The announced fight between Jake Paul and Gervonta "Tank" Davis on Netflix officially has a new venue.

Paul's Most Valuable Promotions announced on Wednesday that the Nov. 14 fight will now take place at the Kaseya Center in Miami.

"New city, same mission, seek and destroy the tank," Paul said in a statement, per ESPN's Andreas Hale. "Kaseya Center. Friday, November 14. I'm bringing the heat, and Miami will see me take down this angry elf while the world watches live on Netflix."

Per TMZ, Rick Johnson of the Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission said MVP "withdrew its submission for event permits and rule waivers necessary to hold the boxing match at State Farm Arena" in Atlanta as previously announced.

The revelation came as presale sign-ups were still available on the venue's site for the bout. While event permits are customary for an event like this, the rule waivers stem from the massive weight difference between Paul and Davis. Paul outweighs Davis by nearly 65 pounds based on their most recent fights.

The GAEC was scheduled to meet this week to vote on MVP's submissions, with three out of five commissioners needed to vote in favor for it to be approved. However, Thompson indicated he would not be voting in favor of the fight, as he previously described the matchup between Paul and Davis as "the dumbest s--t I've ever heard."

Paul and Davis are two of the most popular boxers in the world, so it can be expected that their fight will draw a large audience when it goes down in Miami this fall.
