After weeks of rumors and speculation, superstar rapper Cardi B confirmed Wednesday that she and her boyfriend, New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs, are expecting their first child together.

During an appearance on CBS Mornings to promote her new album Am I the Drama?, Cardi announced her pregnancy, noting that she is "excited" and "happy" to welcome her fourth child into the world:

Cardi added that she is "in a good space," and that she and Diggs are "very supportive of each other."

The 32-year-old Cardi is already a mother of three, as she and her ex-husband, rapper Offset, have two daughters and one son together.

Cardi and Diggs were first rumored to be dating last year, and their relationship was confirmed back in May.

Diggs, 31, is about to become a father of two, as he has a daughter from a previous relationship.

The veteran wideout is in the midst of his 11th NFL season and his first as a member of the New England Patriots.

Diggs broke into the league as a fifth-round pick by the Minnesota Vikings in 2015, and he spent his first five seasons in Minnesota before getting traded to the Buffalo Bills.

It was in Buffalo where he truly broke out and became a star, earning four consecutive Pro Bowl nods, one First Team All-Pro selection and one Second Team All-Pro selection in his four seasons in Buffalo.

Teaming up with quarterback Josh Allen, Diggs recorded four straight campaigns with at least 100 receptions, 1,100 receiving yards and eight touchdowns, with his best season coming in 2020 when he led the league with 127 catches and 1,535 receiving yards.

Despite the success he enjoyed with the Bills, Diggs expressed some unhappiness following the 2023 season, which prompted Buffalo to trade him to the Houston Texans.

Diggs was off to a strong start in 2024, but a torn ACL cut his first and only season in Houston short after just eight games.

This past offseason, Diggs signed a three-year, $63.5 million deal with the Patriots in free agency, and through two games, he has 10 receptions for 89 yards as a member of the 1-1 Pats.
