Quinshon Judkins Listed as RB1 on Browns' Depth Chart After NFL Debut vs. Ravens

The Cleveland Browns have seemingly named their new starting running back.

After Quinshon Judkins made his NFL debut against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, the Browns listed him as RB1 on their official depth chart ahead of fellow rookie Dylan Sampson.

Judkins had a solid debut against the Ravens, picking up 61 yards on 10 carries plus another 10 yards on three receptions.

Judkins, a second-round pick out of Ohio State, missed training camp and the preseason after he was arrested on a domestic violence and battery charge in July. Though he won't face criminal charges, he is still under investigation by the NFL.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported ahead of Judkins' debut that he would have his snaps "closely monitored," but the team hoped he would "eventually becomes the starter."

After a strong debut, it seems he earned that designation.

Heading into Week 3, it appears Sampson will serve as the No. 2 in Cleveland's running back room. The fourth-round pick out of Tennessee has logged 35 yards on 16 carries and has 77 yards on 11 receptions.

Jerome Ford and Raheim Sanders are both listed at No. 3. Ford has 39 yards on 12 carries while Sanders has just three yards on three carries.

The Browns are 0-2 after losses to the Cincinnati Bengals and Ravens, and they'll look to right the ship against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
