Andrade also posted a tweet with a similar message of gratitude:
Andrade most recently appeared on WWE television at the SummerSlam premium live event last month. He teamed with Rey Fenix in the six-pack tag team Tables, Ladders and Chairs match for the WWE Tag Team Championships, but they failed to win the titles.
Following the report of Andrade's departure from WWE,ย details emergedย about what led to the decision.ย Jon Albaย of The Takedown on SI reported that his exit "was not a mutual decision," while PWInsider'sย Mike Johnsonย added that "it was the company's call." A report fromย BodySlamย (viaย Steve Carrierย of Ringside News) revealed that there were differences of opinion between Andrade and the company's creative team. In recent weeks, there reportedly were also communication issues between WWE and the 35-year-old.
Additionally,ย Fightful Selectย (viaย Carrier) reported that WWE was originally planning to have Andrade and Fenix face The Wyatt Sicks for the Tag Team Championships at the Clash in Paris PLE, but the company had to insert the Street Profits into the match when it wasn't able to reach Andrade.
Despite the questions surrounding his departure from WWE, Andrade is still a top in-ring talent who will likely garner some major interest from other promotions while he's on the open market.
