Titans' Cam Ward Excites NFL Fans with Epic Highlight 1st Career TD vs. Rams on Video
Tennessee Titans quarterback Cam Ward's first career touchdown pass was a memorable one.
In the second quarter of the Titans' matchup with the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft scrambled around in the backfield before finding Elic Ayomanor in the end zone for a nine-yard score.

Fans and former players alike were amazed by the play from Ward.
The pass from Ward to Ayomanor traveled 42.3 yards through the air as the first-year passer nearly threw the ball across the width of the field to make the play, according to NFL Next Gen Stats.
The 23-year-old went 10-of-17 for 123 yards and a score without getting picked off in the first half of Sunday's matchup. Tennessee led Los Angeles 13-10 at halftime.
Ward already looked sharper in the pocket compared to his NFL debut during the Titans' 20-12 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 1. While he showed flashes of upside in the defeat, he also completed 42.9 percent of his throws for 112 yards while getting sacked six times.
Ward received praise from Titans head coach Brian Callahan for his debut, though.
"I was really pleased with a lot of things that Cam did in the game," Callahan said Monday, per ESPN's Turron Davenport. "The operation and handling of the environment and his poise was really impressive."
Sunday's first-half performance was especially encouraging for Ward considering he was facing a Rams defense that allowed just 151 pass yards in a Week 1 win over the Houston Texans.
