Angel Reese Meets Terence Crawford in Video Before Canelo Alvarez Boxing Fight

Chicago Sky star Angel Reese met Terence Crawford backstage at Allegiant Stadium before his Saturday night fight with Canelo Alvarez.

Reese also threw a few punches of her own before the fight.

Crawford moved up two weight classes to challenge Alvarez for his undisputed super middleweight title.

He weighed in at 167.5 pounds, a career-high, ahead of Saturday's clash in Las Vegas to match Alvarez pound-for-pound.

In his most recent fight, Crawford weighed in at 153.4 pounds for his unanimous decision victory over Israil Madrimov in August 2024.

He will now look to hand Alvarez his first defeat since 2022, as well as the third of Alvarez's entire career.

Reese's appearance came two days after she sat out the Sky's final game of the 2025 season, a Thursday loss to the New York Liberty.

The defeat marked the fourth straight game Reese missed to end the season. She was suspended for one and a half games, then closed out the season on the sideline with a back injury.

Reese wasn't the only big name in attendance to watch Crawford take on Alvarez. Celebrities including Mr. Beast, Mike Tyson and Marshawn Lynch were also at Allegiant Stadium for the Saturday night showdown in Las Vegas.

The Netflix fight card kicked off at 9 p.m. ET.
