Terence Crawford Posts Career-High Mark at Weigh-In for Canelo Alvarez Boxing Fight

Terence Crawford weighed in at a career-high 167.5 pounds for his upcoming fight with Canelo Alvarez on Saturday, per ESPN's Andreas Hale.

Both fighters made weight on Friday, as Canelo came in at an identical 167.5 pounds.

Crawford moved up from 154 pounds to 168 pounds to face Canelo, who is looking to defend his undisputed super middleweight title.

As for Crawford, he's attempting to become the first male three-division undisputed champion. The 37-year-old has earned titles in four weight classes and has operated as undisputed champion at junior welterweight as well as welterweight.

Crawford will enter Saturday's fight with a flawless 41-0 record, which includes 31 knockouts. The southpaw's last bout occurred against Israil Madrimov in Aug. 2024, securing a unanimous decision win and capturing the WBA junior middleweight title.

He weighed 153.4 pounds when he faced Madrimov (via Hale).

Meanwhile, Canelo holds a 63-2-2 record to go along with 39 knockouts. He first became undisputed champion by taking down Caleb Plant at 168 pounds in 2021.

Alvarez went on to defend the undisputed crown four times.

His most recent fight came against William Scull on May 3, becoming the undisputed super middleweight champion for a second time with a unanimous decision victory. Canelo was stripped of his IBF super middleweight title in July 2024 following an overdue mandatory title defense.

Main-event ring walks for Saturday's bout at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas will be at approximately 11 p.m. ET.
