Kyle Hamilton Responds to Jerry Jeudy Saying Ravens Secondary Poses 'No Challenges'

Zach BacharSep 11, 2025

Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton wasn't fazed by Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy's remarks regarding the ability of Baltimore's secondary ahead of a Week 2 matchup between the AFC North foes.

"I really don't care," Hamilton said, per ESPN's Jamison Hensley. "That's the thing with bulletin board material that I never understood. Was I not going to play hard before he said that? If you need bulletin board material to go play … that's a problem with you."

On Wednesday, Jeudy told reporters that the Ravens' defensive backs present "no challenges."

Jeudy has faced the Ravens three times throughout his career, hauling in 15 receptions for 207 yards without scoring a touchdown.

He's coming off a breakout 2024 campaign with the Browns in which he caught 90 passes for 1,229 yards. However, he committed multiple errors in Cleveland's Week 1 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Jeudy finished the season-opener with 66 yards on five catches, but also dropped two passes. The costly plays consisted of a fourth-down dropped ball as well as a pass that was tipped up in the air by Jeudy before it was eventually intercepted by Bengals safety Jordan Battle.

Hamilton has quickly stood out on Baltimore's defense throughout his budding career, earning Pro Bowl nods in each of the past two seasons. While he recorded two passes defended and a forced fumble in the Ravens' Week 1 defeat at the hands of the Buffalo Bills, the team's secondary struggled as a whole.

Baltimore allowed Bills quarterback Josh Allen to throw for 394 yards, with 251 yards coming in the fourth quarter alone. The Ravens also blew a 15-point lead in the final quarter, as Buffalo stormed back to secure a 41-40 win.

It was a worrying sign for Baltimore after the team gave up 244.1 pass yards per game in 2024, the second-most in the NFL.

While Hamilton doesn't seem to be concerned about Jeudy's comments, the wideout will look to back up his talk when the two teams face off on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
