
Shaun White, Actress Nina Dobrev Reportedly End Engagement After 5-Year Relationship
Olympic snowboarder Shaun White and actress Nina Dobrev have reportedly ended their engagement and broken up after five years together, People.com's Dave Quinn and Kimberlee Speakman reported Thursday.
"It was a mutual decision, and wasn't an easy one, but it was made with love and a deep respect for one another," a source told Quinn and Speakman.
White and Dobrev began dating in 2019 and officially confirmed their relationship in 2020.

The couple announced their engagement on Oct. 30 of last year, when White shared an Instagram post captioned "She said YES."
Dobrev, 36, is best known for her roles in the TV shows Degrassi: The Next Generation and The Vampire Diaries as well as the 2012 film The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
White, 39, is the winner of three Olympic gold medals in the halfpipe event at the 2006 Torino Olympics, 2010 Vancouver Games and 2018 PyeongChang Olympics. He holds the all-time record for most Winter X gold medals with 13 title wins in the SuperPipe and Slopestyle events.
White retired from competitive snowboarding after the 2022 Beijing Olympics. He confirmed to USA Today's Tom Schad in May that he isn't considering a return to competition ahead of the 2026 Olympics in Milan and Cortina, Italy.
