Bills' Damar Hamlin Will Appear in 'The More the Merrier' Hallmark Movie
Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin's recovery from mid-game cardiac arrest in 2023 helped inspire a new holiday movie premiering this winter on Hallmark Channel.
Hamlin himself will make a cameo in The More the Merrier, a movie premiering during Hallmark's annual Countdown to Christmas, according to a Wednesday press release.
The film's release date will be announced when Hallmark reveals its Countdown to Christmas lineup on Sept. 17.

The More the Merrier is centered around a 14-year-old who is receiving treatment for a heart condition in a rural hospital that gets snowed in on Christmas Eve, according to the press release.
In addition to Hamlin, the film will feature cameos from five children and teenagers who have been impacted by heart issues.
These kids and teenagers are part of the HeartMates program, which was launched the pharmaceutical company Abbott in partnership with Hamlin nine months after his cardiac episode in January 2023.
The company states on its website that the program's goal is to "create a space for people with heart conditions and their loved ones to share their stories and receive emotional support."
Hamlin "has previously met all the HeartMates in the film through his involvement in the Abbott HeartMates community, and he has formed close personal bonds with several, along with their families," according to the press release.
The More the Merrier won't be the only film featuring Hamlin to debut on Hallmark Channel this holiday season.
The Bills previously announced that Hamlin would also be featured in Hallmark's Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story. The film will premiere on Hallmark Channel on Saturday, Nov. 22, two days after the Bills play a Week 12 game against the Houston Texans.
Hamlin made his 2025 season debut last Sunday. He played seven special teams snaps in the Bills' 41-40 win over the Baltimore Ravens.
