Nick Sirianni Trolled Eagles, Said They'd Abandon Tush Push Play in Team Meeting Video
Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni had a bit of fun ahead of Week 1, telling the team they would be abandoning their Tush Push quarterback sneak play.
The Eagles, in fact, ran the play twice against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1, converting it both times.

The play remains controversial, with detractors citing both the wear-and-tear endured by the offensive lineman running it and the murkier "it doesn't feel like a football play" argument.
The effort to ban it this offseason fell two votes short, though it's possible the play is on borrowed time, given the strong opposition it has garnered.
The Eagles have argued that they shouldn't be punished for simply running a version of the quarterback sneak better than anybody else. Coming into the 2025 season, the Eagles had run the play 124 times since 2022 and converted it at an 85.5 percent clip.
So no, until it's banned—or until it stops working—the Eagles aren't going to stop running the play. The question is why more teams haven't added it to their arsenal.
