Ravens Planned 30th Anniversary Celebration Before Browns Were Scheduled as Opponent
The Baltimore Ravens will celebrate their 30th year in Charm City during their home opener on Sunday. The only issue is that the game is taking place against the Cleveland Browns, the organization the Ravens once were before Art Modell moved it to Baltimore and rebranded.
A Ravens' spokesperson said Wednesday that the celebration was planned before the 2025 schedule was released:

Suffice to say, Browns' fans and Cleveland-based pundits aren't pleased:
Modell's decision to move the organization out of Cleveland was devastating for the region. Some wounds heal slow, and while the Ravens may have made their arrangements before the schedule was announced, it's understandable why Browns fans would feel aggrieved that the celebration wasn't rescheduled.
