Angel Reese's Criticism of Sky 'Not a Good Look,' Fever's Sophie Cunningham Says
Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham weighed in on Chicago Sky star forward Angel Reese's recent criticism of her team, saying the comments were "not a good look" amid remarks on her "Show Me Something" podcast (31-minute mark).
"There's just some things that you can't say," Cunningham said (h/t TMZ Sports).

"I'm a very team-first person. I always put the team before my feelings, and I think that should be a standard. So, you gotta protect your locker room. You can't be saying everything you're feeling because that's not a good look."
It's been a tough season for Chicago, which sits second-last in the 13-team WNBA with a 10-33 record. Reese has put up numbers, averaging 14.7 points and an WNBA-high 12.6 rebounds while making her second straight All-Star Game in two pro seasons. But Reese made her feelings clear that she doesn't feel her teammates are getting the job done.
"I'm not settling for the same s--t we did this year," Reese said to the Chicago Tribune's Julia Poe. "We have to get good players. We have to get great players. That's a non-negotiable for me.
"I'm willing and wanting to play with the best. And however I can help to get the best here, that's what I'm going to do this offseason. So it's going to be very, very important this offseason to make sure we attract the best of the best because we can't settle for what we have this year."
Reese even threw out the idea of moving on from Chicago.
"I'd like to be here for my career, but if things don't pan out, obviously I might have to move in a different direction and do what's best for me," she said. "But while I am here, I'm going to try to stay open-minded about what I have here and maximize that as much as I can."
Needless to say, the comments were not well-received, and Reese also expressed frustration with herself while addressing the matter with reporters.
In response to her comments, the Sky suspended her for the first half of the team's 80-66 loss to the Las Vegas Aces on Sept. 7. Reese did not play the second half either due to a back injury.
Reese also missed her team's game against the Aces on Tuesday, a 92-61 loss, with the same ailment. The Sky close out the regular season on Thursday with a home matchup against the New York Liberty.
