Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson Announces Engagement to Girlfriend in Instagram Photo

New England Patriots rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson announced his engagement to his girlfriend in an Instagram post shared two days after his NFL debut.

Henderson, 22, helped Ohio State win a national championship while rushing for 1,106 yards with 10 touchdowns during his senior college season.

After the Patriots selected him in the second round of the 2025 draft, Henderson impressed during the team's preseason opener by returning a kickoff for a 100-yard touchdown against the Washington Commanders.

Henderson made his regular-season debut on Sunday. He recorded five carries for 27 yards, while adding six catches on six targets for 24 yards, during the Patriots' season-opening loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.

Patriots coach Mike Vrabel expressed confidence in Henderson after the loss and said the rookie running back would "be a big part of what we do" going forward.

Henderson will now celebrate his engagement before preparing for the season to resume with Sunday's Week 2 matchup against the Miami Dolphins in Florida.
