Updated Fantasy Football Week 2 Trade Value for Top 100 NFL Players
When it comes to determining trade value, Week 2 of the NFL season might be the most confusing.
Before Week 1, you can lean on your draft rankings. After a few games, you have a good idea of which players are trending in positive or negative directions. But bad players can have great games, and great players can have bad games, and we saw plenty of both in Week 1. Whether those outlier performances will actually be indicative of a larger trend is tricky to discern.
But we're here to sort through the noise as best we can. That's why they pay us the... um, livable wages bucks. Remember to keep your league's particular scoring setup—the trade value is made with PPR scoring in mind—and roster format in mind. Any players not listed have a trade value of one.
And of course, may the fantasy points be with you!
Trade Value: 20
1 of 20.jpg)
1. Ja'Marr Chase, WR, Cincinnati Bengals
Yes, Chase just had one of the worst games of his career, catching only two passes for 26 yards on five targets. But in 63 career games, he's only had 26 or fewer receiving yards five times, and he's only been held to two receptions or less four times.
So yeah, we're gonna assume Week 1 was an outlier and keep him atop the trade value chart after his epic 2024.

2. Bijan Robinson, RB, Atlanta Falcons
3. Jahmyr Gibbs, RB, Detroit Lions
4. Saquon Barkley, RB, Philadelphia Eagles
5. Derrick Henry, RB, Baltimore Ravens
Father Time hasn't caught up to Henry just yet. Frankly, nobody else can seem to catch him either. He seems primed for another huge season.
Trade Value: 18

6. Justin Jefferson, WR, Minnesota Vikings
7. CeeDee Lamb, WR, Dallas Cowboys
8. Malik Nabers, WR, New York Giants
9. Puka Nacua, WR, Los Angeles Rams
It is very promising that Nabers was targeted 12 times on Sunday, and very concerning that only five of them resulted in receptions (because Russell Wilson was the one throwing him the ball). That might not be the setup for long, however, with Jaxson Dart waiting in the wings. Either way, Nabers will remain the focal point of New York's offense.
Trade Value: 17

10. Christian McCaffrey, RB, San Francisco 49ers
11. Ashton Jeanty, RB, Las Vegas Raiders
Glass half-full: Jeanty had 21 touches and a score on Sunday.
Glass half-empty: He only managed 40 yards from scrimmage and nobody is going to confuse the Las Vegas offense line for an elite unit.
But fear not—players with Jeanty's talent who get the level of usage he saw on Sunday generally end up faring very well in fantasy. The elite production will come.

12. De'Von Achane, RB, Miami Dolphins
13. Jonathan Taylor, RB, Indianapolis Colts
14. Josh Jacobs, RB, Green Bay Packers
15. Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, Detroit Lions
16. Nico Collins, WR, Houston Texans
It is concerning that Nico Collins was only targeted five times in Week 1, finishing with three receptions for 25 yards. It is similarly concerning that the passing game struggled in general on Sunday, mirroring last year's frustrations.
A healthy Collins generally produces at a very high level, however, so we'll bank on the Texans getting him going in Week 2 and beyond. But we'll be monitoring this Texans' passing game closely.
Trade Value: 15

17. Brian Thomas Jr., WR, Jacksonville Jaguars
18. Drake London, WR, Atlanta Falcons
19. A.J. Brown, WR, Philadelphia Eagles
We're gonna go ahead and assume that A.J. Brown will get more than one target per game the rest of the season. Just a hunch. No panic selling, please.
Trade Value: 14

20. James Cook, RB, Buffalo Bills
21. Bucky Irving, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
22. Kyren Williams, RB, Los Angeles Rams
23. Chase Brown, RB, Cincinnati Bengals
The only running back with more carries in Week 1 than Brown (21) was McCaffrey (22). The Bengals have themselves a feature back.
Trade Value: 13

24. Brock Bowers, TE, Las Vegas Raiders
25. Trey McBride, TE, Arizona Cardinals
26. Ladd McConkey, WR, Los Angeles Chargers
27. Garrett Wilson, WR, New York Jets
28. Tee Higgins, WR, Cincinnati Bengals
29. Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Seattle Seahawks
Wilson never seemed to fully click with Aaron Rodgers last season. But his Week 1 performance paired with Justin Fields (seven catches for 95 yards and a touchdown on nine targets) and a new coaching staff was extremely promising. Perhaps this will be the year the wildly talented Wilson truly ascends to the upper echelon of fantasy wideouts. He genuinely might be a buy-low candidate.
Trade Value: 12

30. Lamar Jackson, QB, Baltimore Ravens
31. Josh Allen, QB, Buffalo Bills
You might think this is low for Allen in particular, given that he just exploded for 38.8 fantasy points and won basically every matchup for those who rostered him. But consider that Allen averaged a much more human 22.2 fantasy points per week last year, and 12 different quarterbacks scored at least that many points in Week 1.
Obviously Allen is a much safer bet to hit the 20-point mark on a weekly basis than many of the players who did so this week (J.J. McCarthy, Michael Penix Jr., Daniel Jones, etc.). But it's easier to find value at quarterback than at other positions—don't panic buy on Allen and overpay in the process.
Trade Value: 11

32. Terry McLaurin, WR, Washington Commanders
33. Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Arizona Cardinals
34. Mike Evans, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
35. Zay Flowers, WR, Baltimore Ravens
McLaurin spent much of the summer as a hold-in, so we'll forgive him if he was a bit rusty in Week 1. No panic selling here either, please.

36. Chuba Hubbard, RB, Carolina Panthers
37. Omarion Hampton, RB, Los Angeles Chargers
38. Breece Hall, RB, New York Jets
39. Travis Etienne Jr., RB, Jacksonville Jaguars
40. James Conner, RB, Arizona Cardinals
There isn't a player in fantasy football who saw their trade value skyrocket this week as much as Etienne. Not only did he lead Jacksonville's backfield on Sunday, rushing for 143 yards (only Henry had more, with 169), but then the Jaguars traded the man who supplanted him last season, Tank Bigsby, to the Eagles.
In the matter of days, Etienne entered the realm of RB2 trade value. Bhayshul Tuten remains a potential threat to siphon touches, but for now, Etienne looks like the main man in Jacksonville. That gives him a ton of trade value.

41. Sam LaPorta, TE, Detroit Lions
42. Tyler Warren, TE, Indianapolis Colts
43. Jayden Daniels, QB, Washington Commanders
44. Joe Burrow, QB, Cincinnati Bengals
45. Jalen Hurts, QB, Philadelphia Eagles
Warren was a bit of a draft darling, and Week 1 showed why—seven catches for 76 yards on nine targets. The Dolphins are a mess, sure, but Warren has legitimate TE1 trade value.
Trade Value: 8

46. Alvin Kamara, RB, New Orleans Saints
47. Kenneth Walker III, RB, Seattle Seahawks
48. D'Andre Swift, RB, Chicago Bears
49. TreVeyon Henderson, RB, New England Patriots
50. Jacory Croskey-Merritt, RB, Washington Commanders
Don't be surprised if this is the low point of Croskey-Merritt's trade value. He's the best running back in Washington, highlighted by his 82 rushing yards and a touchdown on Sunday. If you can buy low on him, do it now.
Trade Value: 7
14 of 20.jpg)
51. Courtland Sutton, WR, Denver Broncos
52. DJ Moore, WR, Chicago Bears
53. Jerry Jeudy, WR, Cleveland Browns
54. DK Metcalf, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers
55. Ricky Pearsall, WR, San Francisco 49ers
56. Tyreek Hill, WR, Miami Dolphins
If you have Hill, you are probably stuck with him unless you are willing to sell low. And it's possible things will only get worse in Miami, though it's also possible he might eventually get traded and land in a better situation. And of course, the Dolphins could always get the offense back on track, though the vibes are rough at the moment.
So you probably need to sit tight and see how this all transpires. It isn't ideal, but it's not like you'd be getting much for him in a trade anyway.
Trade Value: 6

57. Baker Mayfield, QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
58. Patrick Mahomes, QB, Kansas City Chiefs
59. Kyler Murray, QB, Arizona Cardinals
60. Travis Kelce, TE, Kansas City Chiefs
61. T.J. Hockenson, TE, Minnesota Vikings
62. Davante Adams, WR, Los Angeles Rams
63. Chris Olave, WR, New Orleans Saints
64. Deebo Samuel, WR, Washington Commanders
Adams' fantasy value feels like it is going to be extremely touchdown-reliant this season, with Nacua soaking up a huge portion of the targets. That's fine if Adams finds the end zone with regularity, but it's always a risky bet. He's very much in danger of being a player who was significantly overvalued at drafts, making him an intriguing sell-high option.
Trade Value: 5

65. Jaylen Warren, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers
66. Javonte Williams, RB, Dallas Cowboys
67. David Montgomery, RB, Detroit Lions
68. Tony Pollard, RB, Tennessee Titans
69. Jordan Mason, RB, Minnesota Vikings
Mason had nearly double the carries of Aaron Jones on Monday night and looks as though he'll lead the running game, though a long touchdown reception made Jones the higher fantasy scorer on the night. Still, Mason looks like the better option to have on your team out of this platoon, with Jones likely to receive most of his value in the passing game.
Trade Value: 4

70. Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Carolina Panthers
71. Jameson Williams, WR, Detroit Lions
72. George Pickens, WR, Dallas Cowboys
73. DeVonta Smith, WR, Philadelphia Eagles
74. Emeka Egbuka, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
75. Matthew Golden, WR, Green Bay Packers
76. Michael Pittman Jr., WR, Indianapolis Colts
This may prove to be far too low for Egbuka, who was fantastic on Sunday (four catches for 67 yards and two touchdowns on six targets). There is still the matter of Mike Evans soaking up targets and Chris Godwin eventually returning from injury, but Egbuka is a fantastic buy-low candidate.
Trade Value: 3
18 of 20.jpg)
77. Dylan Sampson, RB, Cleveland Browns
78. Aaron Jones Sr., RB, Minnesota Vikings
79. Nick Chubb, RB, Houston Texans
80. Isiah Pacheco, RB, Kansas City Chiefs
81. Tyrone Tracy Jr., RB, New York Giants
82. J.K. Dobbins, RB, Denver Broncos
83. RJ Harvey, RB, Denver Broncos
84. Justin Fields, QB, New York Jets
85. Caleb Williams, QB, Chicago Bears
86. Justin Herbert, QB, Los Angeles Chargers
Sampson is a tough one. He was the clear No. 1 guy on Sunday over Jerome Ford, out-touching him 20-7, but there is the small matter of second-round pick Quinshon Judkins likely entering the mix at some point this season. Short term, Sampson feels like a valuable option, but his long-term value remains murky.
Trade Value: 2
19 of 20.jpg)
87. Dalton Kincaid, TE, Buffalo Bills
88. Juwan Johnson, TE, New Orleans Saints
89. Kyle Pitts, TE, Atlanta Falcons
90. David Njoku, TE, Cleveland Browns
91. Harold Fannin Jr., TE, Cleveland Browns
92. Stefon Diggs, WR, New England Patriots
93. Hollywood Brown, WR, Kansas City Chiefs
94. Jakobi Meyers, WR, Las Vegas Raiders
95. Khalil Shakir, WR, Buffalo Bills
96. Rome Odunze, WR, Chicago Bears
97. Travis Hunter, WR/DB, Jacksonville Jaguars
98. Quentin Johnston, WR, Los Angeles Rams
99. Keon Coleman, WR, Buffalo Bills
100. Zach Charbonnet, RB, Seattle Seahawks
Johnston and Coleman feel like real potential breakout candidates in year three and year two, respectively. Johnston was a former first-round pick who disappointed initially but did find the end zone eight times last season. Coleman had a pretty meh rookie season in 2024 but was Allen's top target in Week 1, leading the team in targets (11), receptions (eight) and receiving yards (112) while finding the end zone.
Consider both very promising buy-low candidates (or potentially even waiver additions).
