Eagles' Saquon Barkley Doesn't Think He'd Be Welcomed Back by Giants Fans in Future
Saquon Barkley signed with the Philadelphia Eagles ahead of the 2024 season, leaving the New York Giants after six seasons in the Big Apple.
All he did in his first season in Philadelphia was win a Super Bowl title and earn Offensive Player of the Year honors, and Barkley doesn't think Giants' fans would ever welcome him back with open arms after he joined a rival team.
"I don't think any Giants' fan ever wants to see me in a Giants' uniform again," he told Eli and Peyton Manning during Monday Night Football. "You know the saying, 'Once a Giant, always a Giant?' I hope that still stays true for me."
