Caleb Williams Wows NFL Fans with Rushing TD in Bears' 1st Offensive Drive of Season

Caleb Williams got his 2025 season off to an exciting start, rushing for a nine-yard touchdown on the Chicago Bears' opening drive against the Minnesota Vikings.

It not only converted a key 3rd-and-6 for the Bears in the red zone, it also was the first rushing touchdown of his career:

Williams had a disappointing rookie season, but the hope heading into 2025 was that new head coach Ben Johnson—and the innovative offense he ran during his time in Detroit—would help unlock the young quarterback and maximize the potential that made him the top overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft.

At the very least, Bears fans had to be very happy with that opening drive.
