Brooklyn Cyclones Are Turning Back the Clock with Nickelodeon 'Guts' Night

The Brooklyn Cyclones (Single-A affiliate of the New York Mets) have come up with a promotion that will make everyone—players and fans—feel young again.

On August 12, the Cyclones will host "Nickelodeon Guts Night" in honor of the extreme sports competition. There will be special uniforms, a giveaway for fans and throwback activities throughout the game.

• Bop It Competition
• Name That Boy Band Lyric

It doesn't get much better than that.

Minor league teams are doing what they can to draw fans. A throwback promotion like this is the perfect way to spark interest because it gives fans a chance to feel like kids (if they aren't kids already).
