Packers HC Hypes 'Aura Farmer' Micah Parsons After Debut Win, 'He Plays Hard as F--k'
While the star edge-rusher was limited in his debut for the team, Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur and defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley raved about the early impact of Micah Parsons.
LaFleur borrowed slang from a younger generation when he told The Athletic's Michael Silver that the four-time Pro Bowler is an "aura farmer."
"He elevates the entire group. And he plays hard as f--k," the coach said. "The guy plays hard, which is what is so exciting."

LaFleur also said that Parsons' pregame introduction at Lambeau Field "might be the loudest I've ever heard our crowd."
The defensive standout logged a total of 30 snaps in Sunday's 27-13 win over the Detroit Lions. He finished with one sack.
Beyond the fact that Parsons only arrived in Green Bay in late August, he has been battling a back injury. That meant he had to assume a slightly lesser role to start his Packers tenure.
Hafley told The MMQB's Albert Breer he learned quickly that Parsons is a special talent in more ways than one.
"We just kept meeting with him," Hafley said. "A lot of it was getting to know him, developing a relationship with him. I quickly learned his football IQ is incredible. His retention, his football IQ, I was like, Wow. And that made it a lot easier."
The coach added how Parsons has "been incredible" in terms of embracing different on-field duties.
"For example, most elite pass rushers don't want to drop into zone coverage," Hafley told Breer. "In practice, I called a simulated pressure and he dropped and let R.G. [Rashan Gary] rush. He told me he was willing to do those things—and that's so cool. He gets it. He knows everyone is going to base their protection on him. He's willing to drop on a play and set it up for others.
"Most D-linemen won't do that."
It's hard to picture a better outcome for Parsons in his first game with the Packers. He came out on the winning side, and he offered a taste of what's to come on the field.
Rarely does one single move put a team over the top within a Super Bowl context. Maybe acquiring Parsons will be one of those exceptions because Green Bay looked like a top contender in Week 1.
