Tyreek Hill Calls Dolphins' Blowout Loss to Colts a 'Big Kick in the Balls for Us'
Miami Dolphins wideout Tyreek Hill didn't mince words after his team was blown out 33-8 against the Indianapolis Colts to open its 2025 season on Sunday.
"This was a big kick in the balls for us," he told reporters.
Hill was targeted six times in the game, finishing with four receptions for 40 yards.

Head coach Mike McDaniel wasn't thrilled with the team's performance either:
Miami's defense was atrocious, giving up 418 total yards to a Daniel Jones-led offense, but quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was just as bad, finishing with a pair of interceptions, a lost fumble and three sacks taken.
"Definitely not all on him—too many people failed at the execution of their jobs for (Tua) to have anything extra on his shoulders," McDaniel told reporters. "Like the rest of the team, (his performance) wasn't good enough."
As for Hill, when last we heard from him during an NFL season, he was quitting on his teammates during the fourth quarter of a Week 18 loss to the New York Jets before suggesting after the game that he would be happy moving on from Miami.
"I don't even know, bruh. This is my first time I haven't been in the playoffs," he told reporters at the time. "For me, I just have to do what's best for me and my family—if that's here or wherever the case may be. I'm about to open up that door for myself... I'm out, bruh. It was great playing here but at the end of the day, I have to do what's best for my career. I'm too much of a competitor to just be out there."
Hill later apologized for those remarks and appeared to mend fences with his teammates and coaches. But during Sunday's blowout loss, he yet again was frustrated.
Hill didn't quit on his teammates Sunday. But if Sunday's performance was a sign of things to come, it may not be long before he resurrects his desire to play elsewhere.
