Week 1 NFL Highlights 2025 Live Tracker for Top Plays, Box Scores from Sunday Results

Erik BeastonSep 7, 2025

On the heels of the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles' win over Dallas Thursday and the Los Angeles Chargers' upset over the AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs, the NFL continued its kickoff off the 2025 season with its first Sunday of competition.

The early afternoon window saw new Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers return to New York to battle the team that he failed to return to playoff glory, the Jets. Elsewhere, the new-look New England Patriots attempted to kick off the Mike Vrabel Era by besting new head coach Pete Carroll's Las Vegas Raiders.

In the latter assortment of games saw Micah Parsons' debut with the Green Bay Packers against NFC North rivals the Detroit Lions and the super Bowl-hopeful Los Angeles Rams host a potentially sneaky good Houston Texans squad.

Catch every highlight from Sunday's jam-packed 12-game slate with this recap of the day's action.
